I'm a great fan of b&w photos as well. However, been trying out other types of photo formats as well. Not easy to take coloured photos and be able to portray the people in them well.

A manual SLR is quite cheap as compared to Digital SLR. You can get one at S$300. I will recommend Canon. Worth investing if u wanna indulge in photography. I believe you can really shoot good photos, judging from ur gallery. Keep more of ur pics coming, yea?

A pity that I do not own an SLR. All my photos were taken with simple digital cameras or a Sony Ericsson k750i camera.
